Recognition notes
The Quickdraw QKD-5A is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3002 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G. Where the original carries an LRM 10 in the left torso, this configuration replaces it with a pair of Medium Lasers, joining the Medium Laser in each arm, the two rear-facing Medium Lasers in the right torso, and the SRM 4 in the center torso. The heat-sink count rises from 13 to 17 single sinks to cope with the added laser heat, while cruising speed holds at 54 km/h with a top speed of 86 km/h and a jump range of 150 metres. Hyper-extending arm actuators mark the type, which Luthien Armor Works builds at its Luthien plant.
