Quickdraw QKD-5K

The QKD-5K is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3049 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G original that trades reach for a denser laser battery. Where the QKD-4G carried an LRM 10 in the left torso, the QKD-5K fields a pair of Medium Lasers there instead, joining the Medium Laser in each arm, the paired rear-facing Medium Lasers in the right torso, and the SRM 4 in the center torso. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's standard plating, and the heat-sink count rises from 13 single to 17 double, while cruising speed holds at 54 km/h with a top speed of 86 and the same 150-meter jump range. The chassis retains its hyper-extending arm actuators, and Luthien Armor Works builds it at Luthien.
