Quickdraw QKD-9M

The Quickdraw QKD-9M is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3086 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G. Where the original carried a Medium Laser in each arm, this variant mounts a Large Laser in the Left Arm and another in the Right Arm, and the LRM 10 in the Left Torso grows to an LRM 15. The rear-facing Medium Laser and the Center Torso SRM 4 give way to a TAG in the Center Torso. A 300 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure replace the standard fusion engine and standard structure, and light ferro-fibrous armor covers the frame in place of standard plating; cruising speed holds at 54 km/h, with a top speed of 86 km/h and a 150-meter jump range. Eleven double heat sinks stand in for the original's thirteen single heat sinks. Both arms carry hyper-extending arm actuators, and Earthwerks Ltd. builds the type at Tikonov, with additional production at Shiro III.
