Quickdraw QKD-9G

The Quickdraw QKD-9G is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3144 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G original, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86; with MASC and a supercharger engaged it can sprint to 135 km/h. Where the QKD-4G carries a medium laser in each arm, this variant fields an ER medium laser in the left arm and another in the right, and the LRM 10 in the left torso gives way to a Streak SRM 6 and a Streak SRM 4 in the same location. The center torso SRM 4 becomes a Streak SRM 4, and a pair of rear-facing medium lasers stays mounted in the right torso. Clan endo steel structure and Inner Sphere ferro-fibrous armor replace the original's standard construction, twelve Inner Sphere double heat sinks stand in for the thirteen single sinks, and an Inner Sphere CASE II unit fills the left torso alongside the MASC, targeting computer, and supercharger in the right torso. The type keeps its hyper-extending arm actuators, and Technicron Manufacturing builds it at Savannah.
