Quickdraw QKD-8P

The Quickdraw QKD-8P is a 3084 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G, a 60-ton skirmisher still riding the same 300 fusion engine but now built on an endo steel skeleton with Triple-Strength Myomer, letting it push a boosted cruising speed of 76 km/h under combat heat above its standard 54 km/h cruise and 86 km/h top speed. Where the QKD-4G split its medium lasers across both arms and the rear torso around an LRM 10 and an SRM 4, the 8P clears the arms entirely and concentrates its punch in the head and torsos: a PPC and a TAG unit sit in the head, a Streak SRM 4 in the left torso, and a pair of medium lasers in the right torso. A Guardian ECM suite fills out the right torso, and the 150-meter jump capability of the original is gone. The design keeps its hyper-extending arm actuators, runs 12 single heat sinks against the 4G's 13, and is built by Earthwerks Ltd. at its Tikonov plant.
