Quickdraw QKD-5Mr

The QKD-5Mr is a 60-ton missile boat, a 3070 rebuild of the 2779 QKD-4G that trades some of the original's brawling teeth for fire-control refinement. The two arm-mounted Medium Lasers become ER Medium Lasers, the Center Torso SRM 4 is dropped outright, and the LRM 10 in the left torso now carries an Artemis IV fire-control system alongside a Guardian ECM suite and CASE. A targeting computer sits in the right torso, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the QKD-4G. The pair of rear-facing Medium Lasers in the right torso carry over unchanged, and the twelve double heat sinks replace the earlier machine's thirteen single sinks. Cruising and top speed hold at 54 and 86 km/h, with the same 150-meter jump capability, and the hyper-extending arm actuators remain a recognition feature. Technicron Manufacturing, now joined by Irian BattleMechs Unlimited, builds the type at Savannah on Shiro III.
