Merlin MLN-1D

The MLN-1D is a 60-ton sniper, a 3090 rework of the 3010 MLN-1A brawler, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65 with a 120-metre jump. Where the MLN-1A carried twin medium lasers in the arms, this configuration mounts a Light PPC in each arm, and the left torso's machine gun becomes a Heavy Machine Gun alongside the flamer. The PPC and LRM 5 in the right torso carry over from the MLN-1A, and CASE now lines the left torso. Thirteen double heat sinks replace the base model's eighteen singles, and the type keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame.
