Recognition Notes
The LCT-7V2 is a 20-ton light, a 3112 rework of the 2499 LCT-1V that trades the original's scouting brief for sniping work. Where the LCT-1V mounted a pair of machine guns in the arms, this version fields an ER small laser in each arm, and a Light PPC in the center torso stands in for the earlier medium laser. A lighter 200 light fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 86 to 108 km/h and top speed from 130 to 162 km/h, and endo steel structure with heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the LCT-1V's standard components. Ten double heat sinks handle the powerplant's output. The type keeps the same minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands, low silhouette, and cramped cockpit, and Bergan Industries builds it at Ares.
