Recognition Notes
The Locust LCT-5M3 is a 20-ton scout, a 3088 rebuild of the 2499-era LCT-1V. Where the original mounted a Machine Gun in each arm and a Medium Laser in the center torso, this variant carries an ER Medium Laser in the Left Arm and in the Right Arm and an ER Large Laser in the Center Torso. A 180 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure replace the LCT-1V's 160 fusion engine and standard structure, lifting cruising speed from 86 to 97 km/h and top speed from 130 to 151 km/h. Ferro-fibrous armor plating replaces the standard armor, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 10 double. The chassis keeps its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its low, hard-to-target silhouette, and Corean Enterprises builds it at Stewart.
