Recognition Notes
The Locust LCT-1M is a 20-ton missile boat refit that trades the LCT-1V's scouting role for stand-off firepower, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the 2499 original mounts a Machine Gun in each arm, this 1M carries an LRM 5 in the left arm and another in the right, with the Medium Laser in the center torso carried over unchanged. The refit keeps the same 160 fusion engine, standard armor, and low, hard-to-target silhouette with its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and cramped cockpit. Achernar Battlemechs performs the conversion at its New Avalon works.
