Recognition Notes
The LCT-5S is a 20-ton striker that closes to short range, a 3073 rework of the 2499 LCT-1V that keeps the same 160 fusion engine and its 86 km/h cruising speed with a 130 km/h top speed. Where the LCT-1V carried a Machine Gun in each arm, the LCT-5S mounts an MML 3 in the left arm and another in the right, and an ER Medium Laser in the center torso replaces the original's Medium Laser. Endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the LCT-1V's standard components, and CASE lines the left torso alongside a bank of 10 double heat sinks in place of the earlier single sinks. It keeps the same minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands, low silhouette, and cramped cockpit, and Defiance Industries builds it at Furillo.
