Recognition notes
The LCT-1S is a 2567 rework of the 2499 Locust that trades reach for punch at close range, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the LCT-1V mounts a Machine Gun in each arm, this version carries an SRM 2 in the left arm and an SRM 2 in the right, leaving the Medium Laser in the center torso untouched. The type keeps its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its low, hard-to-target silhouette, along with the cramped cockpit common to the chassis. Defiance Industries builds it at Furillo.
