Recognition Notes
The LCT-5M2 is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, a 3087 rebuild of the 2499 LCT-1V. In place of the twin machine guns it carries a Medium Pulse Laser in each arm, and the Medium Laser in the center torso gives way to an ER Medium Laser. A 220 XL fusion engine replaces the original's 160 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 86 km/h to 119 km/h and top speed from 130 to 184 km/h. Endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the standard structure and armor of the LCT-1V, and the heat sinks change from single to double. The type keeps its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its low, hard-to-target silhouette, and Corean Enterprises builds it at its MacAdams-Suharno works on Stewart.
