Recognition notes
The Hermes HER-3S is a 30-ton scout that closes to short range on the same 270 fusion engine as the 2632 original, cruising at 97 km/h and topping out near 151, with MASC in the left torso pushing it to a sprint of 194 km/h when engaged. Where the HER-1S carried a Flamer in the left arm and medium lasers in the right arm and center torso, this variant mounts a Medium Laser in each arm and drops the third laser entirely. A Beagle active probe fills the right torso, a system absent from the base model. The type keeps its enhanced communications gear and its stable firing platform, and is built by Irian BattleMechs Unlimited at Irian.
