Recognition Notes
The HER-3S1 is a 30-ton scout, a 3049 rebuild of the 2632 Hermes original with a lighter armament and new sensor gear. In place of the left arm flamer and the center torso medium laser, this version carries a medium laser in each arm, dropping the third weapon mount entirely. A MASC unit in the left torso lets it push past its 151 km/h top speed to a sprint of 194 km/h, and a Guardian ECM suite fills the right torso. The type keeps its enhanced communications gear and its stable firing platform, and is built by Irian BattleMechs Unlimited at Irian.
