Recognition Notes
The HER-3S2 is a 30-ton scout, a 3049 rework of the 2632 HER-1S that trades most of the original's laser battery for reconnaissance gear. Where the HER-1S carried a Flamer in the left arm and Medium Lasers in the right arm and center torso, this variant keeps only the Medium Laser in the right arm and fits a TAG in the left torso alongside a MASC unit. A Guardian ECM suite occupies the right torso, and a supercharger-free MASC engagement pushes its sprint speed to 194 km/h above its 97 km/h cruise and 151 km/h top speed. The chassis retains its enhanced communications gear and stable firing platform, and Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds it at Irian.
