Hermes HER-1Sb

The Hermes HER-1Sb is a 30-ton striker that fights close in, a 2740 rework of the 2632 HER-1S scout variant. It cruises at 97 km/h and tops out near 151 km/h, with a MASC-driven sprint of 194 km/h. Where the 1S carries a single medium laser in the right arm and one in the center torso, the 1Sb mounts two medium lasers in the right arm and two in the left torso, and adds a small laser in the head. The flamer sits in the left arm as before. An extra-light fusion engine drives the design, and double heat sinks replace the single sinks of the original. A Beagle active probe sits in the center torso, and MASC is fitted in the right torso. Enhanced communications gear and a stable firing platform carry over from the base design.
