The Mongoose C is a 25-ton scout, a 2833 Clan-tech rebuild of the 2660 Inner Sphere Mongoose MON-66, keeping the 86 km/h cruising speed and 130 km/h top speed of the original. Where the MON-66 carries a Medium Laser in each arm, this configuration fields an ER Medium Laser in the Left Arm and another in the Right Arm, and in place of the Center Torso Medium Laser it carries an ER Large Laser. The Head mounts an ER Small Laser in place of the Small Laser. A 200 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 200 fusion engine, and the heat sink count rises from 10 single to 12 double. Cudahy Assembly Plant Delta builds it at Circe.
