Recognition Notes
The MON-66GX is a 25-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the MON-66 base configuration mounts a medium laser in the center torso and a small laser in the head, this configuration drops both in favor of an SRM 6 in the right torso, keeping only the medium lasers in the left arm and right arm. A 200 XL fusion engine replaces the base configuration's standard fusion plant, and ten double heat sinks stand in for the base's ten single sinks. Armor here is standard plate rather than the ferro-fibrous carried on the MON-66. Diplan 'Mechyards builds the type at its Ozawa factory.
