Recognition notes
The Mongoose MON-66 is a 25-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130, fast for its weight. It carries a medium laser in each arm and a third in the center torso, backed by a small laser in the head. A Beagle active probe sits in the left torso, and the type is fielded as a command 'Mech. Endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor keep the frame light, and Diplan 'Mechyards builds it at Ozawa.
