Recognition notes

The Mongoose MON-67 is a 25-ton striker, a 2830 field refit of the 2660 MON-66, fighting in close where its three medium lasers and head-mounted small laser do their work. The airframe trades the original's endo steel skeleton for a standard internal structure and drops the ferro-fibrous plating for standard armor, and the Beagle active probe in the left torso is gone. Weapons and mounting locations carry over unchanged from the MON-66, as does the 200 fusion engine and its 86 km/h cruising speed, topping out near 130. It remains a command 'Mech, and being a field refit it is assembled at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
