Recognition notes
The Galleon Light Tank GAL-102 is a 30-ton tracked combat vehicle fielded as a striker. Where the GAL-100 mounts a pair of Small Lasers on its sides and a Medium Laser in the turret, the GAL-102 carries a Medium Laser on the right side and a Medium Laser on the left side, with a Medium Pulse Laser in the turret. The fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 65 to 76 km/h and top speed from 97 to 119 km/h, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plate of the earlier design. A Beagle active probe sits in the front, a system the GAL-100 never carried. Brooks Incorporated builds the type at Irian, with production also at Kendall.
