Recognition notes
The Galleon Light Tank GAL-106 is a 30-ton tracked combat vehicle built for the scout role. Where the GAL-100 mounts an ICE engine and a Medium Laser in the turret with a Small Laser on each side, the GAL-106 runs an XL engine and swaps the turret weapon for a Light PPC, moving the medium-caliber punch to a Medium Laser on the right side and a Medium Laser on the left side. A TAG sits at the front, and a Beagle active probe rides in the hull, neither carried on the GAL-100. Cruising speed rises from 65 to 86 km/h and top speed from 97 to 130 km/h, while Hardened armor replaces the GAL-100's Standard plate. Brooks Incorporated builds the type at Andurien.
