Galleon Light Tank GAL-106M

The Galleon Light Tank GAL-106M is a 30-ton tracked combat vehicle built for the scout role. Where the GAL-100 relies on an ICE plant, this variant runs an XL engine, lifting cruising speed from 65 to 86 km/h and top speed from 97 to 130 km/h. The turret carries an ER Medium Laser in place of the GAL-100's Medium Laser, and machine guns replace the small lasers on the right side and left side. An Anti-Missile System is mounted on the front, a position the original never carried a weapon in, and CASE has been fitted in the hull. Armor has changed from standard plate to Hardened, and the hull carries a 4-ton infantry compartment. Maxwell Planetary Defense Consortium builds the type at Maxwell.
