The VT-7T is a 3091 rebuild of the 2777 Vulcan scout, a 40-ton design that keeps the same cruising and top speeds of 65 and 97 km/h and the 180-metre jump but swaps its 240 fusion engine for a 240 XL fusion engine and its standard internal structure for endo steel. Where the VL-2T carries a Machine Gun, Flamer, Medium Laser, and AC/2, this variant mounts a Heavy Machine Gun in the left arm, a Heavy Flamer in the right arm, an ER Medium Laser in the left torso, and a Plasma Rifle in the right torso in place of the autocannon. A supercharger and targeting computer sit in the left torso, letting the engine push a sprint speed of 130 km/h with the supercharger engaged, and CASE II lines the right torso. Light ferro-fibrous armor and 10 double heat sinks replace the base model's standard plating and single heat sinks, while the low, hard-to-target silhouette carries over from the VL-2T. Nimakachi Fusion Products Ltd. builds it at Tematagi, with Coventry Metal Works producing it as well.
