Vulcan VL-5ML "Aladdin"

The Vulcan VT-5ML "Aladdin" is a 40-ton sniper that fights at long range, a 3143 rebuild of the 2777 VL-2T scout. Where the VL-2T carried a Machine Gun and Flamer in the arms plus a Medium Laser and an AC/2 in the torsos, the Aladdin drops all four for twin Thunderbolt 5 racks, one in the left torso and one in the right. Endo steel structure and stealth armor replace the VL-2T's standard structure and standard armor, and ten double heat sinks stand in place of the original's ten single sinks. A retractable blade extends from the right arm, and an Angel ECM suite occupies the center torso. Cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed near 97, and a jump of 180 metres matches the earlier design, along with the same low, hard-to-target silhouette. It is built by MatherTechno Incorporated, with production at other sites as well.
