Recognition notes
The Vulcan VLC-6N is an 80-ton fighter flown in the attack role. Where the VLC-3N mounts a single medium laser and an SRM 6 in the nose, the VLC-6N keeps both weapons there and adds a large laser alongside them. The autocannon/10 in each wing on the VLC-3N gives way to a Gauss rifle in the right wing and a Gauss rifle in the left wing, and the medium laser in the aft carries over unchanged. Standard armor replaces the VLC-3N's Primitive Fighter plate, and the type cools on 12 single heat sinks against the earlier craft's 13. It is turned out as a field refit at various sites rather than built new at a single factory.
