Vulcan VT-5Sr

The VT-5Sr is a 40-ton scout, a 3075 field refit of the 2777 VL-2T, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out at 97, with a jump range of 180 metres. In place of the AC/2 in the right torso it carries a Plasma Rifle, and an XL fusion engine and MASC in the left torso let it sprint to 130 km/h when engaged. The Machine Gun in the left arm, Flamer in the right arm, and Medium Laser in the left torso carry over from the VL-2T, and CASE lines the right torso alongside the Plasma Rifle. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 12 single sinks. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the base chassis, and as a field refit it carries no fixed manufacturer or factory.
