Orion ON1-M-DC

The ON1-M-DC is a 75-ton brawler, a field-refit rebuild of the 2453 ON1-C. Where the original ran a 360 fusion engine, this configuration mounts a lighter 300 XL fusion engine at the same 43 km/h cruising and 65 km/h top speed, and standard armor replaces the ON1-C's primitive plating. The AC/5 in the right torso gives way to an LB 10-X AC, and the design adds an LRM 20 in the left arm, an SRM 4 in the left torso, and a Narc in the center torso, with CASE lining both side torsos. The twin medium lasers in the arms carry over from the ON1-C. Double heat sinks replace the original's single sinks, and the frame keeps its anti-aircraft fire control and its rugged, field-serviceable build. It is assembled as a field refit at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
