Recognition Notes
The Orion C 2 is a 75-ton brawler, a mixed-tech rework of the 2453-era ON1-C original, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the ON1-C carried twin medium lasers and an AC/5, this variant mounts a Large Pulse Laser in the left arm, an ER Medium Laser in the right arm, and an ER Large Laser in the right torso, with an Extended LRM 15 and a Streak SRM 4 sharing the left torso alongside Clan CASE II. Inner Sphere endo steel structure replaces the original's standard framing, standard armor replaces its primitive plating, and 12 Inner Sphere double heat sinks stand in place of the ON1-C's 10 single sinks. The frame carries anti-aircraft fire control and a rugged, field-serviceable build, and is produced by Kali Yama Weapons Industries Inc. at Kalidasa.
