Recognition Notes
The Orion C is a 75-ton heavy brawler, a 3142 rebuild of the 2453 ON1-C that trades the original's 360 fusion engine for a 300 Inner Sphere fusion engine while holding the same cruising speed of 43 km/h and top speed of 65 km/h. Where the ON1-C carried a medium laser in each arm and an AC/5 in the right torso, this version fields an ER Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm, right arm, and left torso, a Streak LRM 15 in the left torso, and a Gauss Rifle in the right torso. Endo steel structure and Clan ferro-lamellor armor replace the base model's standard structure and primitive plating, and Clan CASE II lines both the left and right torso. The frame keeps an anti-aircraft fire control system and a rugged, field-serviceable build, and it is produced by Kali Yama Weapons Industries Inc. at Kalidasa.
