Orion ON1-K (Kerensky)

The ON1-K is a field-refit rebuild of the Orion, trading the ON1-C's single AC/5 in the right torso for a Gauss rifle in the same location, and adding a snub-nose PPC and an SRM 4 in the left torso, the SRM 4 linked to an Artemis IV fire-control system. CASE now lines the right torso. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the ON1-C's primitive plating, and ten double heat sinks stand in for the original's ten single sinks. A lighter 300 fusion engine drives the design in place of the 360 used on the ON1-C, yet cruising speed holds at 43 km/h with a top speed near 65. The twin medium lasers in the arms carry over from the 2453 original. Anti-aircraft fire control is built into the design, and the frame is noted as rugged and field-serviceable. As a field refit it carries no single manufacturer, being assembled at various sites.
