Longbow LGB-7V

The LGB-7V is an 85-ton missile boat that fights at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, unchanged from the LGB-0C of 2480. Where that primitive original carried a single medium laser in each torso and a small laser in the head, this rebuild fields a pair of medium pulse lasers in the left torso, another pair in the right torso, a medium pulse laser in the head, and an ER large laser in the center torso. The twin LRM 20s in the arms carry over, but each now feeds through an Artemis IV fire-control system, and CASE lines both side torsos. A lighter 255 XL fusion engine and 14 double heat sinks replace the base model's 310 fusion engine and 15 single heat sinks, and standard armor replaces the LGB-0C's primitive plating. The type still stands out for its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its anti-aircraft fire control, and StarCorps (FWL) Industries builds it at Emris IV among other sites.
