Longbow LGB-14C

The LGB-14C is an 85-ton missile boat that fights at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the LGB-0C of 2480 carried an LRM 20 in each arm with a Medium Laser in each torso and a Small Laser in the head, this variant replaces those with an MML 9 in each arm and an MML 9 in each torso, backing them with an ER Medium Laser in the center torso and another in the head. A lighter 255 XL fusion engine stands in for the original's 310 fusion engine, and standard armor plating replaces the LGB-0C's primitive plating. Ten double heat sinks take the place of the fifteen single heat sinks of the earlier model. The minimal, hand-less weapon-pod arms and fixed searchlight carry over from the original, and this variant adds anti-aircraft fire control. StarCorps Industries builds the LGB-14C at its Crofton plant, with additional production at Loburg and St. Ives.
