Recognition Notes
The AWS-9Q (Klatt) is a field refit of the 80-ton sniper, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, unchanged from the 3071 rebuild's 2665 original. Where the AWS-8Q carried three PPCs, this version fields a fourth in the left arm alongside the ones in the right arm, left torso, and right torso, and the Head-mounted Small Laser is replaced by a Small Pulse Laser. A C3 slave unit sits in the center torso, and double heat sinks replace the base model's single heat sinks even as the count falls from 28 to 19. The left arm retains its reinforced battle fist, and the type is assembled piecemeal rather than at a dedicated factory.
