Recognition Notes
The Awesome AWS-11V is an 80-ton assault sniper, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, a 3135 rebuild of the 2665 original. Where the AWS-8Q mounted three PPCs and a small laser in the head, the 11V carries an ER PPC in the right arm, a Light Gauss Rifle in the left torso, an Extended LRM 15 in the right torso, and an ER medium laser in the head. A PPC capacitor backs the right-arm weapon, and an Angel ECM suite sits in the left arm. Endo steel structure replaces the base model's standard framework, and 12 double heat sinks stand in place of the AWS-8Q's 28 single units. CASE II lines both the left torso and the center torso, and the left arm still carries a reinforced battle fist. Technicron Manufacturing/Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds the type at Tongatapu.
