The Awesome AWS-8Q is an 80-ton assault built for long-range sniping, cruising at a sluggish 32 km/h and topping out near 54. Three PPCs form its main battery, one in the right arm and one each in the left and right torso, with a small laser in the head for closer work against anything that gets inside its guard. The left arm carries a reinforced battle fist, and 28 single heat sinks vent the heat its own weapons throw off. Lüneburg Vehicle Corporation builds the type at Braunschweig, alongside other production sites.
