Zeus ZEU-9T

The Zeus ZEU-9T is an 80-ton assault, a 3062 rework of the 2787 ZEU-5T sniper configuration into a brawler. The ER PPC in the left arm, LRM 15 in the right arm, and ER Large Laser in the left torso carry over from the earlier machine, but a 320 light fusion engine replaces the standard 320 fusion engine of the original. In the left torso a Medium Pulse Laser replaces the rear-facing Medium Laser, the center torso's Medium Laser gives way to another Medium Pulse Laser, and an ER Medium Laser joins the mix in the right torso. CASE now lines the right torso, protecting against ammunition explosions there. The type is noted as an easily-serviced design, and while Defiance Industries still builds it at Hesperus II, the Defiance Manufacturing Annex at Kwangjong-ni also turns it out.
