Zeus ZEU-6A

The ZEU-6A is an 80-ton assault refit that trades the ZEU-5T's long-range sniping profile for close-in brawling, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. In place of the ER PPC it carries a standard PPC in the left arm, and the LRM 15 in the right arm gives way to an SRM 6. The ER large laser is replaced by a plain large laser in the left torso, while the rear-facing medium laser in the left torso and the medium laser in the center torso carry over from the ZEU-5T. Standard armor replaces the ferro-fibrous plating of the original, and the 17 double heat sinks are swapped for 17 single heat sinks. It remains an easily-serviced design, now turned out as a field refit at various sites rather than built new by Defiance Industries.
