Zeus ZEU-6Y

The ZEU-6Y is an 80-ton assault sniper, a 2922 rework of the 2787 ZEU-5T fielded on the same 320 fusion engine and cruising at 43 km/h with a top speed of 65. Where the ZEU-5T carries an ER PPC in the left arm, this variant fields an AC/5, and the right arm's LRM 15 gives way to an LRM 10, dropping the Artemis IV fire-control system that guided it. In the right torso sits a Binary Laser (Blazer) Cannon in place of the ER Large Laser and paired medium lasers, and standard armor replaces the ferro-fibrous plating of the earlier model. The heat-sink count holds at 17, but single sinks stand in for the double sinks of the ZEU-5T. Like its predecessor it is built as an easily-serviced design, and Defiance Industries produces it at Hesperus II.
