Zeus ZEU-6S

The Zeus ZEU-6S is an 80-ton sniper, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65 – unchanged pace from the 2787 ZEU-5T it replaces piece by piece for 2898 service. Where the ZEU-5T's left arm carried an ER PPC, this variant mounts an AC/5, and the ER Large Laser in the left torso gives way to a plain Large Laser. The right arm's LRM 15 no longer carries the Artemis IV fire-control system fitted to the original, and standard armor plates the chassis in place of its ferro-fibrous shell. The rear-facing medium laser in the left torso and the medium laser in the center torso carry over from the ZEU-5T, though the 17 heat sinks are now single rather than double. It remains an easily-serviced design, built by Luneburg Vehicle Corporation at Braunschweig, with Defiance Industries also producing it at Hesperus II.
