Zeus ZEU-11S

The ZEU-11S is an 80-ton assault that fights at long range, a 3130 rework of the 2787 ZEU-5T built on mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology. In place of the ER PPC in the left arm it carries a Gauss Rifle, and a Clan XL fusion engine replaces the original's fusion plant while holding cruising speed at 43 km/h and top speed at 65. The LRM 15 in the right arm and the ER Large Laser in the left torso carry over, while the rear-facing Medium Laser moves from the left torso to a rear-facing position in the right torso and is upgraded to an ER Medium Laser alongside the ER Medium Laser in the center torso. The Clan Artemis IV fire-control system in the right arm is joined by a Beagle active probe and Inner Sphere CASE II in the right torso, with a further Inner Sphere CASE II in the left arm, and the heat-sink count falls from 17 to 13 Inner Sphere double sinks.
