Zeus ZEU-9S-DC

The ZEU-9S-DC is an 80-ton sniper that fights at long range, a 3049 field refit of the 2787 ZEU-5T original, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. In place of the base model's rear-facing Medium Laser and Center Torso Medium Laser, this configuration mounts a single Medium Pulse Laser in the Center Torso, and the Artemis IV fire-control system in the right arm is dropped in favor of CASE in the Right Torso. The ER PPC in the left arm, LRM 15 in the right arm, and ER Large Laser in the left torso carry over from the ZEU-5T, though the heat-sink count falls from 17 to 16 double sinks. It remains an easily-serviced design, assembled through field refit work at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
