Recognition Notes
The SDR-9M is a 30-ton scout, a 3096 rework of the 2650-era SDR-5V that keeps the same cruising speed of 86 km/h, top speed of 130 km/h, and 240-metre jump range. Where the SDR-5V mounts twin Medium Lasers in the center torso, the SDR-9M carries a Medium VSP Laser in the left torso and another in the right torso. An XL fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant, and endo steel internal structure combined with light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard structure and armor of the base model; double heat sinks also replace the single heat sinks. It remains an easily-serviced design, built by Nimakachi Fusion Products Ltd. at Tematagi.
