The SDR-5D is a 30-ton scout, a 2853 field refit of the 2650 SDR-5V that keeps the same 240 fusion engine, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130, with a 240-metre jump. Where the SDR-5V mounts a pair of Medium Lasers in the center torso, this configuration carries a single Medium Laser there and adds a Flamer in the right arm. Armor remains standard, and the design is still easily serviced. It is produced as a field refit at various sites rather than by a dedicated manufacturer.
