Recognition notes
The Spider SDR-5V is a 30-ton scout that fights close in when it fights at all, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out near 130. Jump jets carry it 240 metres, giving it mobility well beyond most machines its size. Its armament is a single medium laser in the center torso, a deliberately light bite that leaves reconnaissance as its main job. The design is noted as an easily-serviced machine, and standard armor covers the frame. Nimakachi Fusion Products Ltd. builds it, with production also carried out at other sites.
