Phoenix Hawk IIC 3

The Phoenix Hawk IIC 3 is an 80-ton assault that fights at medium range, a 3062 rework of the 2851 original that trades the earlier sniper's autocannon armament for laser weaponry. Where the base model mounts an Ultra AC/10 in each torso alongside machine guns in the center torso and head, this variant carries a Heavy Large Laser and a Small Pulse Laser in each of the left and right torsos, with a Medium Pulse Laser in the center torso. A targeting computer sits in the right torso, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 22 double sinks to handle the change to energy weapons. Cruising and top speed hold at 54 and 86 km/h, with the same 150-metre jump capability and ferro-fibrous plating as the original, and the type still carries the recognition as an easily-serviced design.
