Recognition notes
The Mauler MAL-4R is a 90-ton juggernaut that cruises at just 32 km/h and tops out near 54, sluggish even by assault standards. Its arms each carry a large pulse laser, while both torsos pair an LRM 15 with two Light AC/5s apiece, giving it four autocannon barrels alongside its missile and laser fire. Inner Sphere CASE II lines all four of those locations, guarding against ammunition explosions in the ammunition-heavy torsos and the XL engine's exposed side torsos. Thirteen Clan double heat sinks handle the engine's output, and Luthien Armor Works builds the type at its New Samarkand works.
