Recognition notes
The Mauler MAL-2R is a 90-ton assault built as a juggernaut, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, slow even for its class. Its arms carry two ER medium lasers apiece, while each side torso pairs an LRM 10 with a pair of Ultra AC/2 autocannons, giving it four such autocannons in total. CASE lines both the left and right torso. Twelve double heat sinks manage its output, and ferro-fibrous armor plates the frame. General Dynamics performs the refit at its Ozawa facility.
