Recognition notes
The Mauler MAL-2D is a 90-ton assault built as a juggernaut, cruising at a modest 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Its arms carry four ER medium lasers, two in each arm, while both torsos hold a pair of Rotary AC/2s apiece backed by an MRM 10 on each side. CASE lines both the left torso and the right torso, guarding against the ammunition feeding those autocannons and missile racks. Twelve double heat sinks manage the engine's output, and ferro-fibrous plating covers the frame. General Dynamics fields it as a refit product out of its Ozawa works.
